HOW SELECTION WORKS

A sporting need.
A credible business.

Show a real need in sport, how your innovation addresses it and who will use or pay for it. Applications are reviewed before shortlisted teams are invited to interview and join the development cohort.

How your sports venture is assessed

Reviewers consider the sporting or customer problem, evidence of demand, the business model, the team and the potential for responsible growth.

Independent judges assess the businesses. Three finalists present their businesses and answer the panel’s questions in Accra.
